WHAT'S ON AT CROMFORD STEAM?
Cromford Steam Rally 2025 is back with a bigger and better show than before. Not all sections are in the usual area as we have had to make room for new exhibits and displays. The military section has grown yet again this year as we continue to expand our displays and vehicles. The car section now has a modern classic area and we hope to have a new working play area for the large steam engines. We also see more exhibits in the motorcycle, tractor and stationary engine areas with an ever growing working plant area seeing more plant than ever.
There will be parades in the main arena from our regular vehicle sections, including steam engines, commercials, military, motorcycles, tractors, vintage & classic cars, along with a few surprises on the day. Also at the event will be the olde tyme fair and the return of the wall of death. Fair organs, along with the model tent and bygones, trade and charity Stalls, will be present and not forgetting hot & cold refreshments.
Please scroll down the page to find out what other attractions are at this years show, and remember to check back from time to time, as more things are added regularly as they get confirmed.

THE WALL OF DEATH
The Wall of Death has been synonymous with speed and danger since it's conception back in the early part of the 20th century. The Original Wall of Death harks back to those early days, with the Wall being constructed in 1928, and the bikes, Indian Scouts, made in 1921.
All those who see the show will remember it for the rest of their life. The noise, the speed, the smell, the proximity of the bikes ridden to the top of the wall, barely 6 inches from the audience - an experience never to be forgotten!
