GESUNDHEIT & SICHERHEIT
By entering the Cromford Steam Rally site, you accept that poor ground conditions may occur as a result of inclement weather. This may result in the requirement for assistance from vehicles such as tractors with towing implements and equipment.
Upon accepting assistance, you accept full responsibility for any damage caused as a result of said assistance. Cromford Steam Rally Society take no responsibility for any damage caused to any vehicle, trailer, exhibit or equipment whilst on tow.
It is your responsibility to provide a suitable anchor point for all towing equipment. This is usually in the form of a factory fitted towing eye, but if a towing eye is not present on your vehicle, you must direct the driver/assistant to a safe point of anchor. Should the chosen anchor point present a risk of damage to the vehicle, this is agreed to at your own risk.
It is advised that you do not attempt to accelerate your vehicle whilst on tow. Please place the vehicle in neutral and allow the tow vehicle to escort you to safe, solid ground. Please watch the tow vehicle carefully and apply your brakes if necessary to prevent collision with the tow vehicle. Our drivers and assistants are experienced and able, please follow their guidance at all times.
Cromford Steam Rally Society will not tolerate abusive or threatening behaviour toward our drivers or assistants. Should you display any such behaviour, no further assistance will be provided, and the authorities will be informed.
In all cases, assistance will be provided free of charge. Tips are welcomed but not compulsory.
